I was inspired by René Magritte’s The Lovers and felt it had a renewed meaning during this pandemic. Through vector shape I emulated a similar heaviness felt from the fabrics in Magritte’s iconic painting. In the digital collage version I wanted to create a warmer tone to their love through color and texture. For the collage I incorporated found imagery from the out of publication, Jet Magazine, feathered ink into coffee, artbreeder, and blending modes.
